This peer learning cohort is made up of seven virtual sessions between September 2024 and May 2025. Sessions include presentations on data-backed practices, compelling funder examples, guest speakers, and time for discussion, reflection, and peer-to-peer learning. Sessions take place monthly, with breaks in December and March.
The utility and success of the cohort depends on meaningful participation from each member. We ask that participants register with the intention of attending each session. Sessions are typically 2-hours long and hosted on Zoom between 12-2pm Pacific/ 1-3pm Mountain/ 2-4pm Central/ 3-5pm Eastern.
Find out more about the program including session details and intended audience on CEP's website. Please confirm your availability for session dates before registering.

Frequently asked questions
Group cohesion is key to our peer learning cohorts. Refunds will be approved only for medical or family emergencies that prevent the registrant from attending five or more of the sessions or on a singular case-by-case basis. Please contact CEP for further questions.
Participants need a reliable internet connection, the Zoom app, and the ability to join from an individual computer to engage with the group for the duration of 2-hour sessions. CEP is committed to making cohorts a welcoming and accessible space, please contact us if you require accommodations.
Because group interaction is a key element of the cohort, we request that registrants join with the intention of attending all sessions. Please contact us before registering if you anticipate conflicts with any of the session dates.
In alignment with cohort confidentiality practices, sessions will not be recorded. Other session materials, such as recommended readings, will be available to registered participants throughout the cohort duration.
Please contact us to discuss the specific options for your organization and current registration guidelines for this cohort. In addition to learning cohorts, the Learning Institute also designs and facilitates custom workshops on philanthropy related topics for individual grant making organizations.
