2023/2024 Grace Church Concert Series Angels

The Grace Church Concert Series is funded in part through the generosity of Mrs. Jacqueline Mars in memory of her mother, Mrs. Forrest Mars, who was devoted to music and loved Grace Church.

Dear People of Grace,

I am pleased to announce the new seasons of the Grace Church Concert Series and the Third Sunday Series. Each event will take place on a Sunday at 5 pm in the church, and will be followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. Please "save the dates" on your calendars now.

In September, the concert series will welcome the MÊLERensemble (an ensemble of four string players with pianist, Tanya Gabrielian.) In November, we will host the world renowned British vocal group, VOCES8. In March, violinist Andrew Sords will return with a program for violin, piano, and clarinet. In April, cellist Amit Peled, a Grace Church favorite, will perform.

This year, the Grace Church music ministry will offer special musical events on the third Sunday of each month. On Homecoming Sunday (September 17), I will offer an organ recital as a fundraiser for the parish's music ministry. Each service of choral evensong will honor the saint recognized by the Episcopal Church on that day. On December 17, we will offer the beloved service of Lessons and Carols.

On December 10, the Grace Church Choir will join forces with Paragon Philharmonia for their annual Christmas Baroque performance.
