Our offices all across Southeast Minnesota make it easy to find help nearby.Minnesota Family Investment Program/Diversionary Work Program *REFERRAL ONLY*WDI provides services for the Employment and Training component of the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP). These services provide an opportunity for eligible families to receive career counseling, job search assistance, access to specialized vocational programs, and support services. We can help you get a job or get a better job. We can also connect you to local resources for any other needs you might have along the way.Career PathwaysCareer Pathways are WDI programs geared to help you launch a new career in one of many industries in Southeast Minnesota. Different Career Pathway programming is available within industries like healthcare, manufacturing, customer service, business services, and services and trades. Begin a Career Pathway conversation with one of our Career Navigators to receive individualized support along the way to sustainable, living-wage work. Rochester International Event

NOTE: If you have a dietary restriction, please reach out to Emily Wessing (ewessing@wdimn.org) by April 15 so we are able to accommodate.Workforce Development, Inc., the Southeast Minnesota Workforce Development Board, the Winona Workforce Development Board, CareerForce, and the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 2023 Workforce Development Forum, taking place in-person on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Rochester International Event Center. This event will feature keynote speakers Ron Painter, President of the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) and Gerry Hoeffner, President of Personnel Dynamics Consulting Group and the Best Places to Work program.The Workforce Development Forum of Southeast Minnesota will be a combined event with the Best Places to Work event. The 2023 Workforce Development Forum will explore ways to build, invigorate, and invest in workforce development and the Southeast Minnesota regional economy. An employer panel will be hosted by keynote speakers and will spotlight this year’s Best Places to Work award recipients. The forum will conclude with a celebration and recognition of this year’s Best Places to Work award recipients, and a sharing of employers’ best practices.
