Join our summer art sessions at 5 East where you can tap into your creative outlet and create at least 3 nature inspired art pieces. The classes will be led by artist Grayce Burdette. Grayce graduated from Indiana State University's Art and Design Program.
This camp is designed for students ages 6 to 10 and will be 3 days with 5 hour sessions each day. All art materials and an art apron will be provided.
Over the course of 3 days, 5 hour sessions each day, students will make 3 nature inspired art pieces. They will learn how to see nature from an artist's perspective. Each art piece will be progressively more challenging and grow each student's skillset
IN ADDITION TO ART WORK, EACH STUDENT WILL GO HOME WITH:
-Elmers glue in 4 oz bottle
-Crayola 24 ct crayons
-Kids safety scissors
-Wooden painting easel
-Paint brush set
-Artist paint palette
-Crayola markers 10 ct
-Artist Art Camp apron
Allow your child to explore aspects of wildlife, plants, and nature through art with us!
THINGS TO NOTE:
-Class begins at 9 AM each day. Students can be dropped off as early as 8:45 AM.
-We ask that each student brings their own lunch and drinks in a water bottle.
-Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
-Class will end and students should be picked up by 2 PM. There are several public parking lots in downtown Mooresville with free parking. Please come inside to pick up your student.
