Clean Lakes Alliance is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization dedicated to the improvement and protection of the lakes, streams, and wetlands in the Yahara River Watershed. Through community support, advocacy, and education, we are working to restore and protect our lakes.

<h2> 2023 Loop the Lake</h2><p>Support clean, healthy lakes with Clean Lakes Alliance’s 11th Annual Loop the Lake Bike Ride. Join us in person on the official Monona Lake Loop by starting and ending at Olbrich Park on Saturday, June 17th. </p><p>Loop the Lake is more than a bike ride - it's an opportunity for our community to rally around our lakes! All registered participants will receive a super-soft event tee. Event proceeds will support Clean Lakes Alliance’s work to protect and improve our lakes through on-the-ground projects, educational programs, and water quality monitoring.</p><h3><strong>About the Ride</strong></h3><p>Join us on the official Monona Lake Loop by starting and ending at Olbrich Park (3527 Atwood Avenue, Madison) on Saturday, June 17th. The course will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. so that riders can ride at their own convenience. An optional group start will take place at 9 a.m. Riders will travel 12 miles clockwise around Lake Monona.</p><p>You can also choose to ride, walk, run, or paddle virtually, from anywhere at any time!</p>

<h3><strong>Registration</strong></h3><p>Registration includes an event t-shirt, courtesy of Lands' End. Your registration supports critical work by Clean Lakes Alliance to keep our lakes at the top of the community agenda.</p><p>Registration: $45 per in-person rider (through June 15th), $55 per virtual rider or in-person rider wishing to have t-shirts mailed. FREE for children 10 &amp; under with purchase of adult registration. $50 day-of registration at Olbrich Park.</p><p>If you would like a shirt size that isn't listed, please email us at <a href="mailto:info@cleanlakesalliance.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">info@cleanlakesalliance.org</a>.</p><p>Registrations are transferable but non-refundable. <h3><strong>T-Shirt Distribution </strong></h3><p>Please select your t-shirt size by Monday, May 1st to make sure you receive your t-shirt before the event. T-shirts can be mailed to your home or business if you select the $50 ticket option. </p><p><strong>DUE TO A LARGE NUMBER OF REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS EVENT, WE EXPECT SATURDAY MORNING TO BE BUSY. PICKING UP YOUR PACKET EARLY WILL HELP ELIMINATE A LONG WAIT ON SATURDAY MORNING. WE HAVE TWO EARLY PACKET PICK-UP OPTIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>EARLY OPTION 1:</strong> Wednesday, June 14th, Noon-4 p.m. Packet pickup will take place in front of our office at 150 E Gilman St (Verex Plaza). We will be in the circle drive in front of our office - simply drive into the front circle, we'll get your name, and give you your shirts and wristbands!</p><p><strong>EARLY OPTION 2:</strong> Friday, June 16th, Noon-7 p.m. Packet pickup will take place in front of The Biergarten at Olbrich Park.</p><p><strong>DAY OF PICKUP: Pick up your shirt the day of the event on Saturday, June 17th at Olbrich Park (3527 Atwood Avenue, Madison) from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.</strong></p><h3><strong>Participant Safety</strong></h3><p>Be safe during the Loop the Lake Bike Ride! Obey all traffic laws, be careful of cars sharing the road, and wear a helmet.
