About this event

"Sesa Wo Suban" - I change to transform my life

The Rites of Passage / Beautillion is an empowering coming-of-age program tailored specifically for young men, designed to facilitate their transition into adulthood with purpose. Guided by a team of dedicated professionals from the community, participants embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Central to the program is the mentorship provided by experienced individuals who offer invaluable guidance and support as the young men navigate the challenges and opportunities that arise during this pivotal stage of life. Together, their female counterparts, celebrated as their 'beauties,' also partake in the journey, fostering mutual understanding and respect.

The culmination of this journey is celebrated during the Beautillion, an elegant event scheduled for the evening of Friday, June 14, 2024, at Antun’s of Springfield Gardens. Here, the young men and women are presented to the community in a grand ceremony, symbolizing their readiness to embrace the responsibilities and opportunities that lie ahead.

Beyond its ceremonial significance, the Beautillion also serves as a platform for fundraising efforts. These contributions play a vital role in supporting the program's mission, helping to provide scholarships that empower future generations of young men and women to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
