The Baton Rouge African American Museum (BRAAM), Community Against Drugs and Violence (CADAV), The City of Baton Rouge and State Representative C Denise Marcelle celebrate Juneteenth together in solidarity on June 18th.

In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, in Baton Rouge three entities hosted the inaugural Juneteenth celebrations unified in one common effort: The Inaugural Unified Juneteenth Caravan 2020.

Due to COVID19 and social distancing being a requirement a city-wide Social Distancing the Sadie Roberts- Joseph Caravan emerged.

We ask that you decorate your vehicle in Juneteenth fashion with an inspirational or historical message.

The Unity Caravan will downtown from the Mayor's Unity Fest and moves through old South Baton Rouge to Gus Young Park Festival.

The Caravan line-up will begin at 9:30am. Specific placement instructions will be provided to each registered participant prior to the day of the event

Registration Fee/Donations are optional but requested. Payment can be made via eventbrite or by check to the Baton Rouge African American Museum

Individual Participants 25.00 and Elected Officials 100.00
