Learn  how to take care of yourself, your family, your neighbors and your city in the event of a major disaster.

Monrovia Public Library - Community Room

Kick off Fall by joining Monrovia Fire &amp; Rescue and fellow citizens in learning how to take care of yourself, your family, your neighbors and your city in the event of a major disaster.Learn the following:<ul><li> Emergency preparedness</li><li> Fire suppression/safety</li><li> Disaster medical operations</li><li> Light search and rescue</li><li> Disaster psychology</li><li> Team organization</li></ul>This is a three Saturday Course: September 24, October 1, and October 8. You must be able to attend all three sessions for the entire time. The class will meet at the Monrovia Public Library each morning but will spend the two afternoons at one of the fire stations. You will need to drive to the fire station for the afternoon sessions.
