2021 MVBA Player Development Training Program

Mark Vincent has been coaching for 20 years at the public and private high school level; he also has three years of experience at the college level.Coach Vincent has coached over 20 division one student-athletes and two NBA players. During his four year tenure as an assistant coach at Montrose Christian, they won 87% of their games and a National Championship in 2011.Coaching/Teaching is his calling and passion; it is how he contribute to society . Basketball is the way he helps young people grow and develop.

Our player development training  program to aide passionate athletes that want to improve skills.

District Sport Center

<h3>Our program will focus on the needs of each athlete and design a workout to improve their skill set.</h3><h3></h3><h3>The areas of emphasis will include proper shooting form, game intensity shooting, basic fundamentals, ball handling, developing a go to move and counter move, position play, and offensive and defensive concepts.</h3><h3></h3><h3>Athletes of 8-17 years old are welcome to enroll in our training program. We offer large group, small group and individual training sessions. </h3><h3></h3><h3>Our small group training schedule consist of Tuesday and Thursday at the District Sports Centers. Ages from 8-12 will train from 4-5 PM. Ages 13-17 will train from 5-6 PM. </h3><h3></h3><h3>Our large group training will take place on Sunday evening at Mount Vernon High School. Our large group training will consist of 8 to15 athletes. Ages 8-12 will train from 5-6 PM. Ages of 13-17 will train from 5-6 PM.</h3><h3></h3><h3>Each group training session will be an 1 hour duration. </h3><h3></h3><h3>Private training sessions will include 5 sessions that  will last 45 minutes or 1 hour.
