X Is Possible, LLC

The HBCU Pathways Program is a year-round program focused on college readiness, career exploration, and cultural awareness.

<h1>About the HBCU Pathways Program</h1><p></p><p>Developed for current high school students, the HBCU Pathways Program is designed to inform decisions related to career paths BEFORE students select a major or college. The HBCU Pathways Program also works to connect participants to early work experiences. Each monthly meeting features a different topic related to college or career, and affords students opportunities for leadership development and networking. Visiting professionals and alumni from  a variety of colleges and universities - including Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs), online colleges and universities, and community colleges - speak to program participants. Speakers address a variety of educational and career paths. </p><p>Monthly virtual meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of the month, October - May. <h1>Additional Programming</h1><p>Additional programming, including job shadowing, college tours, and a summer reading program may be offered through collaboration with local nonprofits. Interested students should indicate interest for these activities during registration. </p>
