Families and professionals are seeking out collaborative divorce.  This course is designed for attorneys,  financial professionals, and mental health professionals wanting to work with divorcing couples using the collaborative model.  We will focus on each role and how to function in a safe, strong, team environment.

Instruction meets all guidelines recommended by the International Academy of Collaborative Practice (IACP), including: 

  • The Collaborative process as a structure to create working relationships to reach agreements and resolve disputes

  • Organizational considerations in running a Collaborative case

  • Recognition of the emotional, financial, and legal elements of the clients’ conflict in all cases and how each element might impact the process

  • The responsibility of each professional to maintain a safe and productive environment for the clients

  • Key communication competencies for Collaborative professionals

  • The benefits, structure and role of Collaborative practice groups

COACDP Trainers:

Attorneys: Linda Miller & Elaine Buck 

Financial Neutral: Susan Moussi  

Neutral Coaches: Randi Cohen & Amy Armstrong

This training meets all requirements & qualifies as Introductory Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice Training required by IACP, and also meets one of the training requirements of COACDP

** CLE Approval Pending

**CSWMFT Approval MCST01201156 -15 CEUs (including 3 Ethics)

** CE for CFPs or CPEs for CPAs may be requested
