<h2>REGISTRATION ENDS AUGUST 20 AT NOON!</h2><h2>CCCC Virtual Summit</h2>August 24 - 25, 2020 (8:00 am - 12 noon each day)CCCC invites you to its first Virtual Summit! This special event is designed for physicians, nurses, social workers, nursing home administrators, chaplains, and others interested in education, clinical research, quality, and policy as it pertains to palliative care and advance care planning. Complete program information will be posted at www.ccccsummit.org as it becomes available.CONTINUING EDUCATION: Full attendance is a prerequisite for receiving professional continuing education credit. Attendees must provide their professional license number when registering and complete an online survey within 30 days following the workshop to receive a CEU certificate. Certificates will be sent via email within 30 days of the Summit. PLEASE NOTE: 50 minutes minimum of uninterrupted time is required to qualify for one hour of CE credit. Continuing education excludes break periods. Chaplains: This program may be used for continuing education credit for chaplains certified with the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc.Nursing: Course meets the qualifications for 7 contact hours. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP 15403.Nursing Home Administrators: Course meets the qualifications for 7 contact hours. Provider approved by the California Nursing Home Administration program (NHAP# CEP 1735).Physicians: This LIVE activity, Summit 2020: Sharpening our Vision for Compassionate Care in the Face of Serious Illness with a beginning date of 8/24/20, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 6.5 prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Pharmacists: Per Section 1732.2(b) of the California Code of Regulations, pharmacists may use courses which have been approved for continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing towards CA continuing education requirements.  See Nursing above.Social Work: Course meets the qualifications for 6.5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. CCCC is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LCSWs and LMFTs, Provider #91987. CME credits provided by the American Academy of Family Physicians. (Please note: CME is issued to physicians and physician assistants; however, other healthcare professionals may claim CME prescribed/elective credit as long as their respective reporting organization accepts AAFP CME credit.)CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations are no longer being accepted.
