Ross School of Business building (701 Tappan Ave) for the 2019 U-M Data Visualization Workshop featuring Dr. Stephanie Evergreen. This event is free for U-M staff, faculty, and graduate students, but space is limited.

About Stephanie Evergreen:
Dr. Evergreen is an internationally-recognized data visualization and design expert. She has trained future data nerds worldwide through keynote presentations and workshops, for clients including Time, Adobe, Verizon, Head Start, American Institutes for Research, Rockefeller Foundation, Brookings Institute, and the United Nations. She writes a popular blog on data presentation at StephanieEvergreen.com. Her book, Effective Data Visualization, was published in Spring 2016. Her other book, Presenting Data Effectively: Communicating Your Findings for Maximum Impact, was just published in its second edition in June 2017. Both books hit #1 on Amazon bestseller lists.

FAQs

Can I only attend part of the workshop?

This workshop is designed for attendees to participate for the entire duration of the workshop. Please do not register if you cannot commit to attending the entire day.

Will Dr. Evergreen be available for private questions, autographs, pictures, etc.?

Unfortunately, Dr. Evergreen has a tight travel schedule and will need to leave U-M promptly at 4:00pm. There will be a special discussion opportunity for graduate students only during the lunch break.

However, Dr. Evergreen is based just down the road in Kalamazoo, MI. She and her very capable staff are available for follow-up trainings or consultations following the workshop. Please contact Evergreen Data here.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Visitor parking is available via metered parking on the east (East University Street) and west sides (Tappan Ave.) of the building or the city of Ann Arbor's Forest Avenue parking structure.

Do I have to bring my printed or electronic ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring a a printed or electronic copy of your ticket to the event. Check-in will begin at 8:00am.

Can I update my registration information?
