2019 QAP Project Plan Roundtable 

Multifamily Division, Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs

The Multifamily Finance Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”) will hold the first planning meeting for the 2019 Qualified Allocation Plan ("QAP") and Uniform Multifamily Rules on December 14, 2017. The meeting will be held at 1:30pm following the December 14, 2017, Governing Board Meeting, and will be held at the same location (John H Reagan 140).
The agenda for this meeting will include discussing proposed topics for the 2019 QAP Roundtables, which will be held on a monthly basis. TDHCA staff will propose a list of topics, but welcomes stakeholder input. Staff also hopes to discuss the possibility of adding new scoring criteria regarding proximity to employment areas to the 2019 QAP.

A handout will also be distributed at the meeting.

As the Department did last year, TDHCA will initiate an online forum for the 2019 QAP Project Plan. Staff will post topics for discussion here throughout the year.
