2019 Make a Difference Day

Army Community Service offers various services, to include volunteering, financial assistance to employment assistance.

Fort Carson Army Community Service (ACS)

Make a Difference Day (MADD) is an encompassing national day dedicated to helping others - a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. MADD is an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of October and is the largest community service volunteer effort conducted on a national level. This day, individuals and families, schools and church groups, businesses and other organizations draw upon their skills and resources to contribute where needs exist. The Fort Carson Army Volunteer Corps (AVC) Program will host the 2019 Fort Carson MADD on 26 October 2019, 0730-1300 at Iron Horse Park with different projects in order to help maintain an environment that makes Fort Carson the Best Hometown in the Army.
ACS Inclement Weather Policy: If the installation is on a 2 hour or less delay, ACS events will be adjusted to a 9:30 a.m. start time. If the installation is closed (2 or more hours), ACS classes will be canceled and rescheduled. For installation weather notifications, visit www.carson.army.mil or call (719) 526-0096.
