The "To Serve Me You Must Know Me" conference will provide free training to 150 professionals that are dedicated to advocating, providing services and impacting the lives of approximately 450,000 seniors and persons with disabilities (SPD's) residing throughout the Inland Empire. The IEDC's goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused on a wide range of subjects specific to the disability and senior communities, to foster learning, inspiration, wonder and provoke conversations that matter. IEDC conferences motivate and challenge service providers to offer a higher standard of service by offering learning opportunities on topics such as:
Social Change
Reconnecting to our roots, finding passion for what we do, identifying with our clients and self direction.
Systems Change
Training on ADA and disability policies, develop strategies to effectuate change in partnership with the private sector, local, state and federal policy makers.
Transformational Leadership
Empowerment tools for leaders including assessment of style, time saving techniques, reconnecting and doing the right thing for the client.
Sustaining Change
Process improvement strategies that incorporate efficiency with policy and fiscal sustainability in the workplace.
