TENNESSEE AP PROFESSIONAL AWARDS BANQUET

The 2017 Tennessee Associated Press News Excellence Awards Presentation will be held Saturday, April 28, at the Nashville Marriott, recognizing the best in newspaper, television and radio journalism. The awards are presented by Middle Tennessee State University’s School of Journalism and the Tennessee AP Broadcasters and Media Editors.

The deadline to register is Monday, April 23. The cost for professionals is $55 per person. The cost for students is $25. No walk up registrations will be accepted.

The event begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards presentation at 6:30 p.m.

HOTEL ROOMS: The Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt has rooms available at the group rate of $229 per night. The deadline to reserve a room at the group rate is 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 11. After that date, the Marriott cannot guarantee the group rate will be available.
