Join state officials, parents, students, business and community leaders at the Georgia State Capitol for the 3rd Edcuate GA Summit hosted by State Rep. Valencia Stovall and ambitiousX. The summit kicks off on Saturday, January 20th with interactive maker studios, live talks with thought leaders plus engaging sessions and ends with the Future of Education keynote luncheon.

The summit takes place at the Georgia State Capitol on Saturday, January 20 thru January 22, 2018. This event is free, but guests are required to RSVP.

FAQs
Where is the Educate GA Summit located? The Educate Georgia Summit is located at the Georgia State Capitol -- 206 Washington Street Atlanta, GA 30334. Sessions will also take place inside the Capitol. General Assembly, keynote addresses and summit luncheon will take place at the big white tent located on Liberty Plaza at the intersection of Capitol Ave SW and MLK Jr. Dr. SW. Sessions
How do I get to the Capitol? From the South Take I-75/85 North to Exit 245 (Capitol Avenue). At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight through the stop sign. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Hank Aaron Drive. (The name will change to Capitol Avenue). The State Capitol is on your left. 
From the North Take I-75/85 South to Exit 248A (MLK, Jr. Drive) and veer right onto MLK, Jr. Drive. The Capitol will be on your left. For parking, turn right at second light onto Capitol Avenue and parking will be on your right at the Sloppy Floyd/Twin Towers complex. 
From the East Take I-20 West to Exit 58A (Capitol Avenue). Turn right and continue on Capitol Avenue. The Capitol will be approximately one mile down on the left. 
From the West Take I-20 to Exit 56B (Windsor Street/Spring Street/Stadium). At the third light, turn left onto Central Avenue. Go to Mitchell Street and turn right. Go one block and the capitol will be on the left.
MARTA MARTA is also an option for transportation to the State Capitol. MARTA exits located nearest the Capitol are the Georgia State Station (directly across from the Capitol in the Sloppy Floyd/Twin Towers complex) or the Five Points station (two blocks west of the Capitol at Underground Atlanta.) Additional Parking: Underground Atlanta and Steve Polk Plaza parking lots are both located on MLK, Jr. Drive one block west of the Capitol.
 Is parking available? Buses and 15-passenger or larger vans are allowed to park on the west side of Washington Street in front of the Capitol on most week days. Capitol events or security threats may make this space unavailable. In those cases, buses will be rerouted by Capitol security.
Self parking options There are plenty of paid parking in the area surrounding the Georgia State Capitol that range from $5-20. Please park at your discretion and follow all payment procedures as noted by parking lot signage.
Where do I go after I park? To the big white tent on Liberty Plaza.
Where do I register upon arrival? Attendees will need to check-in at the big white tent on Liberty Plaza.
What time does the event start? The Opening Keynote breakfast begins promptly at 9AM. Event seating is first come, first served and while supplies last.
What time does the first studio start? The first studio takes place at starts at 9:30AM
Will lunch be provided? Yes. lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis for all summit days
Who can attend the event? Anyone can attend the summit
Is there a cost associated? The event and luncheons are free of charge. We do have a limited number of seats available for lunch sessions which requires an RSVP when you register for the summit.
Can guests register on the day of? Yes, guests can register for the summit on the day of the event at the big white tent on Liberty Plaza
Are there hotel accommodations? There are a variety of hotels in the area surrounding the Georgia State Capitol. You are more than welcome to choose the hotel that fits your needs and budget.
Will this event be photographed or filmed? There is a possibility that you may be filmed or have your photo taken for visual purposes. As a participant, you agree to these terms.
Is there a dress code? The attire for this event is business casual.
Are there bathrooms available? Portable restrooms are located in the parking lot on Liberty Plaza. Restrooms are also located on the first floor of the Georgia State Capitol. Women’s restrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the Capitol and Men’s restrooms are located on the 4th floor of the Capitol.
Will wifi be available at the Educate GA Summit? Yes, wifi will be available exclusively in the Georgia State Capitol. Guests can connect to the GGA-guest without using a password.
