2018 Consider Engineering Application
Please complete this registration to be considered for the UMaine Pulp & Paper Foundation Consider Engineering Program for High School Juniors. The Application deadline is May 1, 2018.
Once completing the required registration information on Eventbrite please send a SEPARATE email to jennifer.b.ireland@maine.edu with the following required documents attached. PDF or MS Word format please. Applications must include:
1. A letter to the UMaine Pulp & Paper Foundation Educational Relations Committee indicating what benefits you intend to achieve through participation in the program.
2. Your full high school transcript from your guidance office for freshman year (grade 9) through the first half of your junior year (grade 11).
3. A one page list of Extra-Curricular Activities (i.e. sports, work, community/volunteer, leadership positions, church and/or scouting activities).
4. A letter of recommendation in support of your application by a teacher or counselor at your school.
Once completing the required registration information on Eventbrite please send a separate email to jennifer.b.ireland@maine.edu with the required documents attached. Once all of your documentation has been received and reviewed for completeness you will receive a confirmation email from Jen.
