2018 Bee Symposium

Applewood Estate, owned and operated by the Ruth Mott Foundation, is the historic home of Charles Stewart Mott.Charles Stewart Mott built Applewood in 1916 as a family home and gentleman’s farm. Today, it’s a vital community resource open to all from May through October.

The Ruth Mott Foundation/Applewood Estate and Mott Community College invite you to our annual Bee Symposium!
Join us for an evening exploring the role of pollinators in our environment through a viewing of the film "Bees-Living For The Queen," and words of wisdom from pollination expert Charlotte Hubbard. See live bees, purchase native plants, and view displays of honey and other bee-related items. The event is free, some items will be available for purchase.
