2017 Reentry Summit

The Re-entry Unit is tasked with: 1) identifying the programs and services offered by state agencies, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations 2) assessing the success and reach of those services and eliminating gaps 3) collaborating with state agencies and community organizations to facilitate the delivery of services and 4) reaching out to the business community and other nongovernmental stakeholders to create new opportunities for successful reentry.

The State of Georgia and the Department of Community Supervision cordially invite you to join us and other criminal justice professionals at the State of Georgia’s 1st Annual Reentry Summit, where we will highlight major accomplishments of Governor Nathan Deal’s three phased approach to Criminal Justice reform. 
Featuring keynote speakers former Major League Baseball player and four time World Series Champion Darryl Strawberry, National Football League three time Super Bowl Winning Coach Joe Gibbs and an address from Governor Deal himself. Come and see how innovative collaborations between federal, state, community and faith based partners have contributed to the increase of evidence based practices, measured outcomes and Georgia leading the nation in Criminal Justice Reform!
