2017 NACADA CT State Drive‑In Conference May the fourth be with you: Advise, we must.

The University of Connecticut is pleased to host the 2017 NACADA CT State Drive-In Conference on Thursday May 4th from 9:00am−4:00pm. Our theme was clearly influenced by the choice of date and the relation to the Star Wars franchise, which we plan to have fun with. Given the complex nature of advising and the expanded roles many of us are experiencing, it is more critical than ever to channel the force within us, as advisors and advising teams to balance our responsibilities and support our students, just like Master Jedis, such as Yoda.

Submit a Proposal!
This conference will be a great learning opportunity for members of the local community and those in nearby states to join in on the conversation of academic advising in higher education. This conference presents an excellent opportunity to meet the needs of academic advisors in addressing various topics, but we need our colleagues to present to make it a success! If you would like to submit a proposal, we encourage you to do so! Sharing our experiences and best practices is what makes NACADA and the advising community great.
The deadline to submit a proposal is April 7th. Presenters will be notified with their proposal decision approx. 1 week after the deadline.
