2014-2015 Paraprofessional Instructional Assistant Exams (IA)
Paraprofessional/Instructional Assistants are required by NCLB to demonstrate knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics, either by possessing an Associates Degree or higher, or 48 semester college units, or passing a minimum proficiency exam.
VALID CALIFORNIA ID REQUIRED ON DAY OF EXAM!
PLEASE BE PREPARED TO TAKE A PHOTO ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM!
We can accommodate up to 20 people for this examination. Dates and space availability are subject to change. Pre-registration is REQUIRED and will be accepted up to 8:00AM, Monday prior to the exam date. All registration fees must be paid at the time of registration.
Currently, Alameda County School Districts will accept this Certification Card as proof that you have passed this examination.
CERTIFICATION CARD INFORMATION:
You must pass the exam with a minimum overall score of 70%. You will receive notification with the details and instructions on how to obtain the certification card, via the email you provided.
Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide Tutorial Booklet available for $5.00 (cash ok). Tutorial must be purchased in our office and CANNOT be mailed.
Tutorial booklets are not allowed in exam room!
