Paint Your Grief
Some grief doesn’t have words; this online class offers a place to express it through abstract painting.
Paint Your Grief is a live virtual painting class for anyone who is grieving a loss during the holiday season. This class offers a creative way to express grief without words.
Some grief doesn’t have words. This class gives it somewhere to go.
Instructor April Hannah is a mental health therapist with more than 22 years of experience and an abstract artist. After her mother died, she began painting at 42 to move pain out of her body and onto the canvas. In this class, April guides you step by step through the High Frequency Healing Art™ process she wrote about in her chapter of The Grief Experience.
In this class you will:
- Set up a calm, comforting space for your healing at home
- Be guided through a simple three-layer painting process
- Express what you’re carrying with color and movement of a paintbrush, not words
- Finish with a one-of-a-kind abstract painting and a sense of release
No art experience needed. There’s no right or wrong, and you don’t have to be good at this. You only need to show up.
What to have ready:
