Youth Mobility Listening Session for Parents & Caregivers
Join to share what concerns & excites you about safety & independence for youth around ebikes, emotos, scooters, walking & other mobility.
If you’re a parent or caregiver who is excited about the opportunities that active and powered transportation can provide, but may also have concerns about safety, this session is for you. Led by Ali Schmitt, LICSW, social worker, and supported by Kara Oberg, transportation planner and owner of The Ride Cafe bike shop, this is a listening session for you to share your hopes and fears. A second action-focused session, will follow.
Break out sessions organized by town or school will follow large group listening session to dive into local challenges and opportunities.
Donations are encouraged but not required and will be sent to Families for Safe Streets. We look forward to the discussion.
