Empowering Young Leaders, Inspiring Collective Change - AISA workshop, AGM
Bringing Indian student leaders together to build leadership skills, strengthen networks, and shape a united national voice for Indian youth
The Indian Student Leaders Workshop is an in-person event for Indian student leaders and professionals interested in networking.
About the event
The Empowering Young Leaders, Inspiring Collective Change - 2026 is a national initiative bringing together Indian student leaders, university club representatives, and emerging student advocates from across Australia.
The workshop aims to build a stronger, more connected and collaborative network of Indian student leaders by providing a platform to develop leadership capabilities, exchange ideas, discuss common challenges, and explore opportunities to strengthen Indian student representation and advocacy in Australian universities.
Through interactive discussions, leadership development activities and networking opportunities, participants will explore effective student leadership, community engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and ways to create meaningful impact within their respective university communities.
The event will also incorporate AISA's Annual General Meeting (AGM), providing an opportunity to reflect on the organisation's progress, discuss future priorities, and shape its strategic direction and national initiatives.
Ultimately, the workshop seeks to move beyond individual university communities and foster a united national network of Indian student leaders — empowering them to represent their peers, champion student welfare, build meaningful partnerships and contribute to a stronger Indian student community across Australia.
