The Art of Seeing: The Subtle Beauty of Color

The Art of Seeing: The Subtle Beauty of Color

Overview

Join artist Rachele Nyssen for an intimate, hands-on exploration of color harmony and the art of seeing.

Slow down. Experiment. Discover.

Using just three pigments, discover the surprisingly beautiful range of colors that emerge through subtle shifts in value, temperature, and hue. Inspired by the atelier tradition, this workshop invites you to slow down, look more closely, and experience the pleasure of painting without the pressure of creating a finished work.

With individual guidance from Rachele, each participant will create their own ribbon of harmonious color on a prepared wooden artist's palette to take home.

The workshop takes place at Upper Market Gallery in San Francisco, alongside The Anatomy of Things, a group exhibition featuring Rachele's work. Participants are invited to explore the exhibition and experience the artist's approach to color firsthand.

No previous painting experience necessary. All materials are provided.

Space is limited to 8 participants.
