What if stillness wasn’t the absence of movement but the fullness of presence?
Welcome to Embodied Mindfulness - an easily repeatable daily sitting practice designed for the modern body/mind. Developed by Jamie McHugh over the past 25 years, this somatic approach to lively stillness uses focused somatic activities of breath, vocalization, self-contact, and movement to occupy the mind so the body can settle.
The session consists of a brief overview, two guided 20 minute experiences - 360 degree breathing and variations - and a Q&A at the conclusion. This session is recorded for playback by participants.
This experiential session is a preview of the upcoming 12-week series beginning Tuesday, January 19, 2027. All information HERE
Experienced as well as people new to mindfulness are welcome to enjoy this session.
