Get informed about mass incarceration and write birthday cards to our incarcerated queer and trans family. Learn something, do something.
Learn something, do something.
Open the Cage is an education and advocacy night featuring storytellers and advocates to speak on mass incarceration and criminalization in Michigan, and the ways that queerness and transness inform the shapes of state violence experienced.
In collaboration with Power Blossoms in California, we're writing (and drawing!) birthday cards to queer and trans people currently experiencing incarceration. Materials provided!
