Get ready for SKANKSGIVING DISASTER! We're bringing together Southern California's ska and punk community for a night of live music, dancing, food, drinks, and Thanksgiving chaos at The Compound by Dirt Dog in Commerce, California.

Come ready to skank, support the bands, and celebrate the underground music community.

EVENT INFORMATION

Doors Open: 6:00 PM

Age Requirement: 18+ with valid government-issued photo ID

Admission: Advance tickets available through Eventbrite. Door tickets subject to availability.

Amenities: Bar, food, and independent vendors.

Re-Entry: Strictly prohibited.

TICKETS & ADMISSION

• All attendees must present a valid ticket for admission.
• Digital Eventbrite tickets will be scanned at entry.
• Each ticket permits one admission only.
• Tickets purchased from unauthorized third parties may not be honored.
• Admission is subject to venue capacity, security screening, and compliance with event policies.
• Tickets may be available at the door unless the event sells out.
• All attendees must be at least 18 years old and present valid government-issued photo identification.
• No re-entry is permitted after exiting the venue.

AGE RESTRICTIONS & ALCOHOL

This event is strictly 18+.

Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry regardless of age.

Alcoholic beverages are available only to attendees 21 years of age or older with acceptable identification.

Alcohol service is managed by authorized venue personnel. Anyone attempting to purchase or provide alcohol to an underage attendee may be removed without refund.

Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

SECURITY & VENUE RULES

Security personnel will be present throughout the event.

All attendees may be subject to bag inspections, identification verification, and security screening as a condition of entry.

The following are prohibited:

• Weapons, firearms, knives, or dangerous objects.
• Outside alcoholic beverages or unauthorized food and drinks.
• Illegal substances or unlawful drug activity.
• Fighting, threats, harassment, or violent conduct.
• Unauthorized vending, solicitation, or distribution of promotional materials.
• Any activity that endangers performers, staff, vendors, or other attendees.

Management and security reserve the right to deny entry or remove individuals who violate event rules, engage in unsafe conduct, or interfere with event operations, subject to applicable law.

MOSHING, SKANKING & CROWD SAFETY

Ska and punk performances may involve energetic dancing, skanking, moshing, crowd movement, and physical contact.

Participation in these activities is voluntary and carries inherent risks, including falls, collisions, and accidental injuries.

Attendees are expected to respect others, avoid deliberately dangerous behavior, and follow all instructions from security and event personnel.

Aggressive conduct intended to injure others will not be tolerated.

Attendees should exercise personal judgment regarding their physical abilities and comfort with crowded environments.

SOUND, LIGHTING & EVENT ENVIRONMENT

This event features amplified live music, potentially high sound levels, stage lighting, and crowded performance areas.

Attendees sensitive to loud sounds or visual effects should take appropriate precautions. Hearing protection is recommended.

Production elements, performance schedules, and stage arrangements may be modified as operationally necessary.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Parking availability near the venue may be limited.

Attendees are encouraged to carpool or use rideshare services.

Please observe posted parking restrictions and avoid blocking driveways, neighboring businesses, or emergency access routes.

MYU Productions and the venue are not responsible for parking citations, towing, theft, or vehicle damage except as required by applicable law.

FOOD, BEVERAGES & VENDORS

Food, beverages, and independent vendors will be available on site.

Purchases from vendors are separate from event admission.

Vendor availability, menus, products, and pricing may vary.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted without prior authorization, except where required by law or reasonable accommodation.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RECORDING

Photography and video recording may occur throughout the event for promotional, documentary, and social media purposes.

By attending, guests acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in event photography or recordings.

MYU Productions may use event footage for lawful promotional purposes, subject to applicable rights and laws.

Professional photography, commercial filming, and media access require advance authorization.

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & SCHEDULE CHANGES

All ticket sales are final except where refunds are required by applicable law or Eventbrite's applicable policies.

Refunds will be provided if the event is canceled, as required by applicable law and the ticketing platform's policies.

Artist lineups, performance times, and event programming are subject to change.

Changes to individual performers or performance schedules do not automatically entitle ticket holders to refunds, subject to applicable law.

In the event of postponement, cancellation, or circumstances beyond the organizer's reasonable control, attendees will be notified through available Eventbrite communication channels.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Attendance at a live music event involves inherent risks associated with crowds, amplified sound, dancing, physical movement, and the actions of other attendees.

By attending, guests acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to exercise reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.

Attendees are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.

Nothing in these event policies excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct.

CODE OF CONDUCT

SKANKSGIVING DISASTER welcomes everyone who respects the music, the performers, and the community.

Harassment, discrimination, violence, intimidation, and unwanted physical contact will not be tolerated.

Respect fellow attendees, performers, vendors, security personnel, and venue staff.

Failure to comply with event policies or lawful instructions may result in removal without refund, subject to applicable law.
