RCFA x TD M&A Case Competition

Join us for the opportunity to participate in a real-world M&A case with industry-leading professionals from TD Securities.

Teams must consist of 1-4 competitors from the University of Toronto, in their 1st to 3rd year.

RCFA is excited to announce the 2026 TD Mergers & Acquisitions Case Competition!

The competition offers students a platform to apply their technical expertise and demonstrate their presentation and analytical skills to solve a real-life M&A scenario.

TD has generously been sponsoring this competition since 2012 attracting students from all over Canada. Participants will have the opportunity to present their analysis to judges from TD Securities Investment Banking Team, and to network with members of TDS following the competition.Key details:

Case Release: Cases will be distributed on November 10th and posted on the RCFA Linktree website.

Case Teach-In Session: A case teach-in session will be hosted on November 11 at 1 PM EST providing an opportunity to ask case-related questions.

Submission Deadline for Presentation Deck: November 18th, 11:59 PM EST

Invitation to Competition Day Extended to Finalists: November 19th

Competition Day: November 20th, 8:30 AM EST - 4:00 PM EST
