Sweat Records & Black Miami-Dade: MIAMI SOUND 2 Release Party & Talk

Celebrate Miami's funk & soul history w/ Nadege Green in conversation with Betty Wright's daughter & collaborator Asher Makeba!

Join us at Sweat Records on Saturday, November 14th from 7-9PM for a special talk and release celebration for the brand new Sweat Records Edition of Soul Jazz Records UK's MIAMI SOUND 2 compilation!

Come out and hear the album, along with Black Miami-Dade's Nadege Green in conversation with Asher Makeba, daughter of and musical collaborator with THEE international legend Ms. Betty Wright.

Call us biased but we think these are some of the greatest funk and soul tracks of all time, by music icons like Betty, Timmy Thomas, Gwen & George McCrae, Clarence Reid, Little Beaver, and more. Our version is on special magenta vinyl and is only available via Sweat.

All ages welcome. Refreshments available.
