Sip themed drinks and join a delightfully unserious discussion of Yellowface, R. F. Kuang’s darkly comedic thriller.
We’ll meet on Thursday, November 19 from 7:00–8:30 PM for themed drinks inspired by the book and a guided (but very unserious) discussion. Come alone, bring a friend, have strong opinions, have no opinions — all are welcome. Just come having read as much of Yellowface as you can. (Spoilers for this book will certainly happen.)
Come early and make a night of it! The Whale’s Happy Hour runs from 5–7 PM, so grab dinner or a few drinks before book club begins. We'll also have complimentary valet parking.
