Unpunished: The Ronald Greene Murder and Cover-Up

Award-winning documentary UNPUNISHED: The Murder and Cover-Up of Ronald Greene will hold its premiere Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at AMC Clearview Palace 12 presented by VYRE Network and United Venture Productions.

Directed by Chico Bryant, who received Best Director – Documentary Feature for Unpunished at the 2026 Marina del Rey Film Festival, the film examines Greene’s fatal arrest, the alleged cover-up that followed, and his family’s pursuit of accountability. On May 10, 2019, Greene, a 49-year-old Black man, died following a high-speed pursuit and roadside arrest near Monroe, Louisiana. Authorities initially attributed his death to a car crash. Body-camera footage obtained by journalists nearly two years later showed officers using stun guns, punching, and dragging him, contradicting the initial account.

Through the perspectives of Greene’s family, investigative journalists, and former Louisiana State Police trooper Carl Cavalier, Unpunished follows the effort to challenge the official narrative and bring evidence into public view.

The Louisiana premiere precedes the film’s exclusive streaming debut November 12 on the VYRE App.
