Cardiac CT level 2
Build skills for independent Level 2 cardiac CT reporting through 150 supervised cases and earn 35 CME points in Bangkok.
Cardiac CT level 2 is an in-person training course for cardiologists and radiologists developing the skills and case volume needed for independent Level 2 cardiac CT reporting.
Course overview
Hosted at Le Méridien Bangkok, this course provides 35 CME points and leads toward BSCI accreditation while working toward SCCT. Delegates will review 150 contrast-enhanced cardiac CT cases to prepare to independently interpret coronary CT angiography (CCTA) under appropriate clinical governance.
Learning and case reporting
Didactic lectures cover physics, acquisition, reconstruction, radiation safety, contrast use, coronary and structural heart interpretation, and non-cardiac findings. Supervised hands-on case reporting using a GE workstation covers a wide range of coronary and extra-coronary cardiac pathologies. Carefully selected cases are designed to broaden exposure and enhance learning for all delegates.
Faculty
The Cardiovascular CTA Imaging Level 2 Training Course is delivered by experienced faculty with over 40 years of experience teaching CCTA interpretation. It is led by Dr Azhar Khokhar, Head of Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, with support from Dr Ermanno Capuano. The team provides a relaxed learning atmosphere with ample opportunity for questions and discussion.
While in Bangkok, delegates can explore this stunning and exciting city.
