GBMSDG November Meeting - Epigenetics, Epitranscriptomics & DNA Damage
Join us November 18th at Sanofi! Dr. Peter Dedon and Maysa Ilamanova explore MS-based DNA adductomics, epigenetics, and epitranscriptomics.
Join us on Wednesday, November 18th, for our next Greater Boston Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group (GBMSDG) meeting at Sanofi!
This month's presentations will explore how mass spectrometry is advancing our understanding of DNA and RNA modifications and their roles in gene regulation, cellular stress responses, and disease. Our speakers from MIT will highlight applications ranging from the discovery of novel nucleic acid modifications to high-throughput DNA adductomics and the characterization of DNA damage and repair.
As always, the evening will include opportunities to connect with fellow scientists from across the Greater Boston mass spectrometry community.
Featured Speakers:
Dr. Peter Dedon | Massachusetts Institute of Technology "Mass Spectrometry for Epigenomes and Epitranscriptomes"
Maysa Ilamanova | Massachusetts Institute of Technology "Discovering New Forms of DNA Damage Using Mass Spectrometry-Based Adductomics"
📍 Location: Sanofi - 450 Water St, Cambridge, MA 02141
📅 Date: November 18, 2026 - 5:30-8:00 PM
About GBMSDG
The Greater Boston Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group brings together scientists from academia, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and instrument vendors to share advances in mass spectrometry and its applications across the life sciences.
Our meetings provide an informal opportunity to learn about new research, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues throughout the Greater Boston scientific community.
Special thanks to Agilent for sponsoring the food and refreshments and to Sanofi for hosting us!
