Meditate With A Monk at George Washington University
A free 90-minute guided meditation with a Buddhist monk, open to everyone. No experience needed. Part of GW Interfaith Week 2026.
No experience needed. No cushion, no belief, no commitment — just a seat and ninety minutes.
Rev. Amitha Khema, Buddhist Chaplain at George Washington University and a monk at the Buddha Meditation Center of Greater Washington DC, leads a free guided meditation in the Continental Ballroom as part of GW Interfaith Week 2026: Belonging Across Beliefs.
Most people who come have never meditated before. That is exactly who this is for.
