Ask an Archaeologist! Youth and Family Workshop

Ask an Archaeologist! Youth and Family Workshop

Overview

Explore our new special exhibit with an archaeologist, then make your own royal inscription!

Learn all about excavating from an actual archaeologist during this 2-hour workshop! PhD. candidate and Lead Museum Educator Anna Berlekamp will lead a special tour of our new exhibit: Hartapu: The Forgotten King of Anatolia. Hear about Anna's experience excavating at the site of the long lost king and ask her questions during a Q&A. Then, learn how to write your name in Luwian Hieroglyphs and carve your own royal inscription just like King Hartapu's!

All ages welcome! This is a structured 2-hour workshop. Please register in advance.
