About the Play

ORVIN - CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS is a musical comedy of accidental heroism.

Orvin lives in a world populated by heroes but he himself isn’t one. He’s a mere squire to the mighty Lord Ulmar, the fiercest warrior ever seen on the plains of Hypothetica – or anywhere else for that matter.

But when Orvin oversleeps on the day of a crucial battle, he sets in motion a chain of events that will see him assume the mantle of Lord Ulmar himself and reluctantly journey to the castle of Presupposia in the hostile land of the Varne – to woo the princess, right past wrongs and set to rest a bitter feud that has been going on for centuries.

Will the Gods smile on Orvin’s mission or will he fall victim to the web of intrigue and murder that awaits him ? Will Orvin find his inner hero or will the angry Gods strike him down ? There’s only one way to find out….

ORVIN - CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd.
