Love Cafe Date Night: A Surprise Date, Planned for You

We plan a surprise date for the two of you. You go live it, then join other couples at our Arlington home to share your story.

When was the last time a date actually surprised you?

A few days before your date night, a sealed envelope with both your names on it shows up in your mailbox. We'll ask for your address when you register. Don't open it until the afternoon of your date. Inside is your date for the night. We designed it. You haven't seen it. You open it together, make a plan, and go. Some of our date assignments are playful and some are a little daring.

Every one is meant to give you a night that feels nothing like your usual dinner out, and to show you something about each other that might surprise you. Come just the two of you, or invite another couple and make it a double date. Then, between 8 and 8:30, every couple comes back to our home in Arlington.

Over dessert, each couple tells the story of their night. Same envelope, completely different evenings. And plenty of laughing at the parts that may have gone sideways. At 10 pm we close with a short ritual to seal in the love and adventure you just shared. The house stays open until 11 for anyone who wants to linger and get to know the other couples.

Love Cafe Date Night happens monthly, with a new envelope every time. Come once for a great date. Keep coming and you'll find yourselves among a circle of couples who know you.

Agenda:

1) Saturday afternoon: open your envelope together and plan your date

2) Afternoon into evening: your surprise date, on your own or with another couple

3) 8 pm to 8:30 pm arrive at our home in Arlington

4) 8:30 pm Dessert and date stories with the other couples

5) 10 pm closing ritual - we seal in the mystery, romance and delight

6) Until 11 PM: stay and socialize

Tickets: $90/couple - Includes your envelope, the evening at our home, dessert, and a closing ritual

The cost of the date itself is up to you.
