Jazz & Heritage Concert Series: Blodie's Jazz Jam

Overview

A Jazz Fest favorite, Gregory "Blodie" Davis, comes to Rampart Street for one unforgettable night of New Orleans jazz!

Produced by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, Goldfarb Financial proudly presents the Jazz & Heritage Concert Series, featuring Blodie's Jazz Jam, on Saturday, November 21st, at 8:00 pm.

Don't miss an evening of spontaneous energy, musical camaraderie, and extraordinary talent from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell's Jazz Tent in the intimate setting of the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N Rampart Street).

Led by legendary trumpeter Gregory "Blodie" Davis, a founding member of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and longtime Jazz Tent coordinator, Blodie's Jazz Jam celebrates the musicianship and improvisation that make New Orleans jazz unlike anywhere else in the world.

A beloved Jazz Fest tradition, the jam brings together some of the city's finest musicians for a dynamic evening of spirited solos, musical conversations, and unexpected moments. No two performances are ever quite alike, making this concert one-of-a-kind!

Join us as we bring a taste of the Festival to Rampart Street for an evening honoring the creativity, collaboration, and living legacy of New Orleans jazz.

Tickets are $10, and seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the concert begins promptly at 8:00 pm.
