A slow Saturday by Bristol’s harbourside: sensory painting, poetry and yoga practice.
Soft Edges is a day for slowing down. Come in the morning to find prints and artworks, stay for a workshop, or spend the whole afternoon with us.
Each workshop books separately (full pack available), and space is limited, so every session stays small and unhurried.

-Sensory Art: tactile painting with Joss
12:00–13:30
Price: £11.55
Get hands-on with paint you can touch and smell. In this relaxed taster session, you’ll explore textured, scented, colour-rich paint, making marks by instinct rather than plan. It’s a playful, mindful way to slow down, reconnect with your senses and make something entirely your own.
Open to all skill levels, and all materials are included.
Under-16s must attend with a participating adult.

-Let’s Write a Verse: poetry with Hardik
14:00–15:30
Price: £7.21
There’s a poet in all of us. What usually holds us back isn’t a lack of imagination but the worry that we’re “not good enough” with words. Poetry isn’t about perfection. It’s about paying attention, being honest, and finding meaning in ordinary things. This gently guided workshop runs in three stages, with prompts to guide you through each. No pressure to prove anything, just bring yourself and stay curious. By the end, you might surprise yourself with a poem that’s truly yours.
Worksheets and stationery are provided; bring a notebook if you’d like to jot down ideas.
Adults only (20+).

-Yoga for wellbeing with Sophie
16:00–17:30
Price: £8.30
A judgment-free space to meet yourself where you are and move for joy. Beginners are very welcome.
We’ll start with a grounding meditation, warm up the joints, and flow through some sun salutations, then settle into restorative postures to calm the nervous system and quiet the mind. A gentle invitation to get curious about your connection with yourself through awareness, breath, and movement.
Please bring your own yoga mat (we don’t provide them), plus a blanket if you’d like one for the restorative part. Wear comfortable clothes.
Ages 14+; under-18s must attend with a participating adult.
