What is fire cider?
Fire cider is a traditional folk tonic made by steeping apple cider vinegar with pungent, warming ingredients like horseradish, ginger, garlic, onion, and hot peppers. Often sweetened with a little honey, it has a bold, spicy-tangy kick. People have long used it as a seasonal wellness staple, taking a spoonful to support immunity, aid digestion, and warm up on cold days. It’s also a great base for salad dressings, marinades, and stir-fries.
