Overview

Join Pioneer Works for a ASL tour of There's no me without you by Finnegan Shannon, featuring works by Alex Dolores Salerno.

Join Pioneer Works for an American Sign Language tour of There’s no me without you, an installation grounded in the latter artist’s longtime fantasy of an exhibition space that would meet their access needs. Three artists—first Ariana Martinez, followed by Joselia Rebekah Hughes, and, finally, Alex Dolores Salerno—are consecutively featured during the three-month duration of the exhibition. In November, a conveyor belt retrofitted by Shannon becomes a vehicle for Salerno’s artworks, which originate from the artist’s personal and familial experience with coffee. The tour will be guided by Jeremy Lee Stone and Nic Annette Miller.

Please note that this tour is intended for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Voice interpretations will not be available.
