Wednesday Night Stand Up Comedy at Laugh Factory Chicago

Originally from Evanston, Illinois, and now based in Santa Monica, California, Ara Anton is a nationally touring stand-up comedian known as “The Country Club Comic,” bringing his unique brand of clean, clever, golf-inspired comedy to audiences across the country.

An Evans Scholar from Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette, Illinois, and a graduate of Indiana University, Ara eventually traded the Midwest for the bright lights of Hollywood, where he built a career in comedy, television, and film.

His film and television credits include Something’s Gotta Give, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and How I Met Your Mother. He has also appeared in three national golf commercials for Callaway Golf, Breathe Right, and Workday, alongside PGA stars Bruce Fleisher, Matt Kuchar, Davis Love III, and Brandt Snedeker.

Featured in Golf Digest as “Golf’s New Funny Guy,” Ara has entertained audiences at more than 120 prestigious private clubs, golf resorts, and corporate events throughout the United States and Canada. His performances have taken him to some of the most exclusive golf destinations in North America, and he has shared the stage with legendary CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz.

A featured presenter at the PGA Show in Orlando and a returning emcee at the Chicago Golf Show, Ara combines his Midwestern roots, Hollywood experiences, and hilarious observations about golf, marriage, and everyday life into a one-of-a-kind comedy experience.

Now, the Evanston native returns home to Chicago, bringing his comedy to the legendary Laugh Factory stage!
