Archdiocesan Poetry Contest 2027: Celebration of Winners

Listen to the 2027 Middle School Poetry Contest winners read their winning poems.

Join Catholic Literary Arts, the sponsor of this contest for young writers, to celebrate the 2027 Archdiocesan Contest winners in grades six-eight. This year’s contest theme asked writers to compose poems in honor of “Jesus, the Good Shepherd.”

These youthful poets bring skills and faith to the task of creating original poetry that moves the heart and touches the soul.
