29th Africa Business Conference at Harvard Business School
The 29th Africa Business Conference will gather attendees under the theme: “Africa's Decisive Chapter: Build, Bend or Break”
This year’s theme responds to a pivotal moment. The models Africa has relied on for decades, from aid to multilateral frameworks to geopolitical alignments, are changing faster than the alternatives are being built, even as the continent sits at the center of every major global transition: energy, technology, and demographics. Last year’s conference established that Africa has agency in this moment. This year’s theme describes the fork it now faces: some things are being built with the ownership, capital, and leadership to last, some are bending under real pressure without breaking, and some, if conditions don’t change, will break.
We will explore how Africa can navigate this window of opportunity and turn its potential into durable outcomes, from AI and technology to infrastructure, agriculture, culture, and sports. As the largest student-run Africa-focused conference, we convene over 1,100 business leaders, policymakers, investors, and students from around the world for two days of rigorous dialogue and forward-looking insights.
Important Information Regarding Friday’s Programming:
Please note that Friday’s programming will have limited capacity and will require a separate RSVP, which will be shared with registered conference attendees.
Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to venue capacity. A conference ticket does not guarantee admission to Friday’s programming without a confirmed RSVP.
