Not Just Another Pretty Face Unveiling Reception

Come discover one-of-a-kind art brought to life by more than 50 Chicago artists

About Not Just Another Pretty Face

Not Just Another Pretty Face is Hyde Park Art Center's matchmaking commissioning program for artists and potential art buyers, facilitating lasting relationships between artists and patrons, a new base of support for artists, and investment in the vitality of Chicago's cultural community.

Join us in celebrating the project's culmination at the highly anticipated Unveiling event, where we’ll reveal more than 70 commissioned artworks across the Art Center’s first-floor galleries. These works, ranging from paintings to installations and beyond, are hidden under muslins and will be revealed to their patrons for the first time that night! The event celebrates the realization of the ideation process between artists and patrons and marks another moment in Chicago's lively patronage spirit.
