Spanish & English Cyanotype Workshop

Come play with cyanotypes! In this bilingual workshop, you’ll learn how the process works and experiment with making prints on paper and fabric.

All materials are provided. Feel free to bring objects that may fit in a paper sized 6" x 8" or 8.5" x 11", dried flowers, or plants to try out. You can also send us one high-resolution photo, and we’ll turn it into a negative for you to use during the workshop. Please send your photo by November 17, three days before the workshop on November 20.

Jo Cosme and Gabriela García are Caribbean artists who use cyanotype in their artistic practices. Both have studios at 380 Union Street.

¡Ven a experimentar con la cianotipia con nosotras! En este taller bilingüe, aprenderás cómo funciona el proceso y te divertirás creando impresiones en papel y tela.

Nosotras ponemos los materiales. Puedes traer objetos cotidianos que quepan en un espacio de 6" x 8" o 8.5" x 11", plantas o flores secas para experimentar. También puedes enviarnos una foto en alta resolución que quieras imprimir, y nosotras prepararemos el negativo para que lo uses durante el taller. Envíanos tu foto a más tardar el 17 de noviembre.
