Trick or Print: Halloween 3D Printing Workshop for Kids

TRICK OR PRINT is a Halloween 3D printing workshop for kids aged 5 to 12 and their grown-ups, at SilkGear on Bourke Street.

Design your own Halloween monster. We show you how, step by step: pick its horns or cat ears, its wings and its mouth, then snap it together. No glue, no tools, no experience needed.

It glows in the dark. Your monster goes into our glow box for a quick flash of UV light, then you peek inside and watch it shine.

Take it home, with your name printed on its base. You also get a Monster Maker badge and a card that shows you how to make it glow at bedtime.

Along the way, watch a pumpkin grow on the 3D printer, layer by layer.

A$10 per kid, all materials included. Only 12 spots, so please book ahead. Costumes welcome!

Good to know

• One ticket per child. Each child comes with one grown-up, who doesn't need a ticket.
• Please arrive at 2:45 PM to check in. We start at 3:00 PM and finish at 4:00 PM.
• Can't make it? Refunds are open until Tue 27 Oct. Please cancel your ticket so a family on the waitlist can take your spot.
• The kit has small parts, so please keep an eye on little siblings under 3.
• We only take photos of families who say yes on the booking form.
• It's also Derby Day, so city trams will be busy. Leave a little extra time to get here.
